Chapter 13 gives us more backstory on Tina, another one of Darrin's antagonists in the novel.  We learn about Tina's relationship with her husband, Rod, and her best friend, Stacy.  

Chapter 14 provides more information on the status of the FBI's investigation into Darrin, including notes Darrin had written that seem to predict the dates of terrorist attacks.

Chapter 15 gives "Hot Rod" Warner the type of introduction a novel's anti-hero deserves.  Rod loves poker, but he's been dealt a really bad hand when it comes to his childhood friend, Darrin.  In the next installment we will see whether Rod can bluff his way through and save his friend.
